Yamato 2025 | $1 USA | 1oz Fine Silver Coin

The third release in the Famous Ships collection pays tribute to the Japanese battleship *Yamato*. Renowned as the lead ship of her class and one of the largest, most heavily armed battleships ever constructed, the *Yamato* was a secret engineering marvel of the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II, boasting the largest guns ever mounted on a warship at 18.1 inches. Though her service was limited as naval strategy shifted toward air power, her final, desperate one-way mission to Okinawa in April 1945 remains a defining moment in military history, marking the end of the legendary age of the battleship.

Struck by the Royal Krakow Mint from 1 oz (31.1035g) of .999 fine silver, this 2025 release features stunning color digital printing to bring the vessel to life. With a face value of $1.00 USD, this highly exclusive coin is limited to a global mintage of only 100 pieces, standing as a rare and significant tribute to a titan of naval power. Each piece is presented with meticulous craftsmanship, honoring the legacy of one of history’s most formidable warships.
